* 1 cup sourdough starter * 1 cup all-purpose flour * 1/2 teaspoon baking soda * 1/2 teaspoon baking powder * 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder * 1/2 teaspoon onion powder * 1/4 teaspoon salt * 2 large eggs * 1 cup milk * 4 strips of cooked bacon, crumbled * 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese * 2 tablespoons melted butter
1. In a large bowl, combine the sourdough starter and flour until mixed thoroughly. 2. Add baking soda, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt, and mix well. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until fully combined. 4. Pour the egg mixture into the sourdough mixture and stir until just combined. 5. Fold in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese. 6. Stir in the melted butter until the batter is mixed but still slightly lumpy. 7. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions. 8. Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crispy, usually about 4-5 minutes. 9.
